It was the first time we visited Toscane and we were impressed about the beauty of this region. We were there in May and everything was green, fresh and in full growth. It might be a few degrees warmer, but this was currently a problem for the whole of Europe...
Bardeggiano is a great beautiful place to be.
The silence, the great garden, the flowers, the nature, the houses, the pool... everything is so nice and so well maintained.
We stayed in Caterina 4, a well equipped, independent house near the pool with a lot of space and with a cozy interior.
Bardeggiano is also well positioned to visit the beautiful towns in the Toscane.
Not only the fact that Toscane has stolen our heart now, but also the kindness and the hospitality of the owners made our stay memorable.
We hope we can return there soon and enjoy again.

Bardeggiano ist für uns ein zweites Zuhause geworden. Seit elf Jahren kommen wir und unsere Kinder (zwischen 8 und 20 Jahren) Jahr für Jahr immer wieder her. Etwas anderes als das kommt für keinen von uns mehr in Betracht. Jeder Abschied bedeutet Momente der Trauer. Eine wunderschöne, gepflegte Parkanlage mit überquellenden Geranien, Oleanderbüschen, riesigen Feigen- und Olivenbäumen, saftigem, weichem Rasen unter den Füßen und einem Pool, so blau, wie sonst nur der Himmel über Bardeggiano ist. Die Appartements und ihre Terrassen sind ideale Rückzugsmöglichkeiten in wunderschönem, altem Gemäuer, um ganz für sich zu sein. Der überaus großzügige Poolbereich verleitet entweder zu ausgiebigem Sonnenbaden, Schwimmen und stundenlangem Lesen im Schatten, den hohe Bäume spenden, oder verheißt Abkühlung und Erfrischung nach Trips in die unerschöpfliche kulturelle, historische und landschaftlich einmalige Umgebung. Von besonderem Vorteil ist die bei großer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit auf einem eigenen Hügel doch absolut zentrale Lage Bardeggianos im grünen Herzen der Toskana. In 20 bis 30 Minuten erreicht man San Gimignano, Siena, das Chiantigebiet und Volterra, in 45 Minuten Florenz. Aber auch längere Ausflüge bis an die Ränder der Toskana sind kein Problem mit der Aussicht, danach „nach Hause“, nach Bardeggiano, zurückkehren zu dürfen. Exzellente Restaurants locken in der Nähe ebenso wie landestypische Osterien und Weingüter. Wer nur für sich sein möchte, kann das in Bardeggiano problemlos tun. Es findet sich jedoch auch stets die Möglichkeit, Kontakte zu interessanten und netten Gästen anderer europäischer Nationen zu knüpfen. So haben wir hier Freunde fürs Leben gefunden, sowohl in Person anderer Gäste, als auch in den äußerst warmherzigen und kultivierten Eigentümern. Bardeggiano – ein Fest fürs Leben…

Bardeggiano è un luogo molto verde e molto fiorito, illuminato dal sole, dove si ritrova un rifugio ideale dopo le "scappate" fatte a Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano, Colle Val d'Elsa, Monterrigioni...
A Bardeggiano c'è un'atmosfera di dolcezza, di buon vivere e di tranquillità. Ciascuno ha l'impressione di essere a casa propria, accolta da una famiglia, che è discreta ma, nello stesso tempo, aperta ed ospitale. Ogni appartamento o casetta s'inserisce con armonia nel luogo ed è stato ristrutturato in modo giusto, con mobili toscani ed ogni comodità. A secondo dello stato d'animo o dell'ispirazione, si può leggere, fare un tuffo in piscina, abbronzarsi al sole, prepararsi "certi piattini" o gustare un bicchiere di Chianti. D'estate, le notti sono dolci e ci si addormenta cullati dal canto dei grilli e delle cicale. Se si ha un temperamento da pittore si può provare ad esprimere queste sensazioni con l'acquerello sotto l'occhio benevolo dell'artista, Danilo, adottato dalla famiglia e incantato da Bardeggiano, espone le sue opere sui muri di ogni casetta

Pour nous Bardeggiano c'est d'abord le calme et l'harmonie d'un lieu où les couleurs dominantes sont celles des arbres et des fleurs : dégradés de verts, d'ocre et de rose pâle s'accordant au plus juste entre le bleu du ciel et l'eau de la piscine. L'ombre et la lumière se côtoient tout en douceur. C'est aussi le sentiment toujours renouvelé de se sentir accueilli dans une famille. C'est une impression permanente de douceur de vivre dans un cadre où chacun semble s'accorder au partage du bien être. Calme, repos et confort incite au farniente sans toutefois oublier l'incomparable richesse culturelle, architecturale et artistique des lieux environnants. Bardeggiano c'est une proximité permanente avec ce que la Toscane recèle de plus beau et de plus attachant: Siena, Firenze, San Gimignano, les collines du Chianti, Le Val d'Orcia et tant de lieux magnifiques à découvrir ou à redécouvrir.

We love Bardeggiano. It is a beautiful place in its own right, full of flowers, trees and vines, and it is also ideally positioned for trips to some of the loveliest towns and most spectacular countryside in all Italy. “Our apartment, la nostra casina”, is comfortable and well equipped, as always, and Mariangela, the owner, is welcoming, kind and helpful. Throw in a lovely pool area, Tuscan weather and a bottle or two of Chianti and what else could we possibly want? Wonderful!
